◆Nirayama Reverberatory Furnaces◆

◆Izu Panorama Park◆
The landmark of Izu Panorama Park is undoubtedly the ropeway. As you slowly ascend the 1,800m long ropeway to an altitude of 452m, the cityscape of Izunokuni City and Izunagaoka Onsen, as well as Mt. Fuji, spreads out before your eyes, creating an impressive sight. From the summit, you can enjoy a magnificent view. In particular, the Fujimi Terrace, which was completed in July 2016, has many spots where you can relax while taking in the view.
◆Numazu Deep Sea Aquarium◆
Located in the Minato 83 commercial facility in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, this unusual aquarium has a deep-sea theme. The highlight of the aquarium is the coelacanth exhibit, which features extremely rare exhibits such as frozen and stuffed specimens of the deep-sea fish, which has not changed shape for 350 million years. Other popular exhibits include a large tank filled with creatures from Suruga Bay, a treasure trove of deep-sea creatures, a tank with magically glowing fish, and a tank with crown-of-thorns starfish, which are known for living for years without eating. Unique goods themed on deep-sea creatures are also sold at the museum's shop.
